Hydraulic or Electric?
There's no "better" system — there's the right system for your case. The main difference is the type of works required and long-term efficiency.
Polyethylene piping circuit buried in the flooring, through which heated water (30–45°C) is circulated by a heat pump. The slab accumulates heat and distributes it evenly for hours — like a thermal battery.
Heating cables or electric radiant film placed directly under the final flooring, without needing to lift the entire floor structure. Ideal for partial refurbishments or specific rooms.
Compatibility
Most current flooring types are compatible. What varies is thermal conductivity — some materials transfer heat better than others.
